After sweating through the second-hottest July in 140 years and swimming in ocean temparatures rivalling the Mediterranean, get ready for another warm month in August.
The weather institute DMI's monthly forecast predicts that the July heat will lead to continued high temperatures into the next weeks, making August hot, without being unbearable.
This weekend definitely won't be cold, but don't set up the picnic table too quickly.

Another with thunder
Saturday will start off dry, with temperatures reaching 28 degrees in some places, but then there may be some showers moving in on the south-eastern part of the country later in the evening.
Sunday is going to be even worse, with some heavy rain and thunderstorms striking down almost everywhere.
Bornholm spared
If you want to be sure of escaping the lightning bolts on Sunday, your safest bet will be on the holiday island of Bornholm, which will live up to its nickname 'the sunshine island' this weekend. Here there will be sun and temperatures may hit 30 degrees on Sunday.
But if you're staying in Copenhagen, you don't have to worry. After a few days, it looks like the weather will improve and bring more sunny summer days.
