International House on Monday hosted a welcome reception for the new students of the University of Copenhagen, who by the looks of it are a feisty bunch this year.

Pictured are (left-right) Pia Allerslev, the deputy mayor for children and youth issues; Thomas Jakobsen, the head of Borgerservice; Lykke Friis, the prorector of the university; and Karsten Haurum, the administrative director of Kultur Fritid at the City Council.

Allerslev then went on to make one of the key addresses to an audience that included Ejvind Sandal (right), the owner and editor-in-chief of the Copenhagen Post.
