Fast Show to make quick pitstop in December

Preparations under way for another successful production

Rehearsals are underway for a one-off production, ‘The Fast Show – Stood Up’, on Sunday December 7 at Krudttønden in Østerbro (performances at 15:00 and 18:00 (tickets: billetnet.dk).

The production is the brainchild of British actor Martin Popplewell, the former landlord of the Red Lion who is well-known to CTC audiences thanks to star turns in their last two pantos: ‘Old King Cole’ and ‘Aladdin’.

He opportunistically obtained permission to use the material from Fast Show co-creator Charlie Higson, who is probably best known for playing Swiss Toni and Ralph.

Pictured are the performers: Danish Rugby League president Steven Davy (UK), CTC regular Nino Burini (Italy) and Popplewell and Alun Thomas (UK).
