Top of Billboard Dance Charts: Dane Nabhia is US dancing queen

Copenhagener is ahead of Aretha Franklin and Jennifer Lopez

The Danish pop star Nabiha has reached the top of the US Billboards Dance Chart with her single ‘Animals’.

“I’m incredibly proud!” the singer from Copenhagen said in a press release.

“I’ve had my fingers crossed for the past couple of weeks as it’s climbed up the list and now it’s at the very top. I’m proud of myself and my whole team. I couldn’t have wished for a better Christmas present.”

Nabhia has enjoyed success in the Danish market, having released three albums, but this is her first major US breakthrough. She was born and raised in Vesterbro.
