The train that made history
Some 25 years ago on 13 January 1990, DSB’s first IC3 train departed from Copenhagen Central Station to Struer and Frederikshavn in Jutland after a two-year delay. The IC3 set a new Danish speed record for trains in 1991 when it clocked 204.6 km/h.
