Watch out for 500 kroner counterfeits

An unknown man has already used the fake money in three places in Randers

East Jutland Police cautions against an unidentified men who has been using counterfeit 500 kroner banknotes in Randers over the last few days.

Local police have already received reports from three places in the town where, in total, eight of the counterfeit notes have shown up and been obtained.

The banknotes are well-made imitations but lack the security threads.

The hologram on the front side is missing and substituted by a silver-painted image with the same motif.
