Sir Paul McCartney coming to Roskilde Festival

Legendary musician to grace a Danish stage for the first time in 11 years

Paul McCartney, the legendary composer, singer and musician, will return to Denmark for the first time in 11 years this summer. McCartney will perform at this year's Roskilde Festival Orange Stage on Saturday July 4.

The concert will be Paul McCartney's only European festival show this summer and his first European festival show in five years.

Ready to rock
McCartney is fresh from his recent tour of the United States, South America and Asia with his acclaimed 'Out There' tour that celebrates his more than 50-year career as a solo artist, as a member of Wings and, of course, as a member of the Beatles.

"We have not played at a European festival for five years, so we are delighted to bring our show to Roskilde this summer,” said the legend in a statement. “It's been a while since we have been in Denmark, so we are ready to rock!”
