Weekend weather could bring first taste of summer

Temperatures could lick 20 degrees on Saturday

While there wasn’t much to complain about weather-wise over the Easter break, get ready for a little preview of summer this weekend.

According to national weather forecaster DMI, the weather will stay dry over the rest of the week as temperatures hover around the 15-degree mark before shooting up to close to 20 degrees on Saturday.

“It will get nicer and nicer during the week with rising temperatures,” Klaus Larsen, a DMI meteorologist, said according to Metroxpress newspaper. “It will feel rather warm after a while, particularly if you sit in the sun.”

Arctic winds
The temperatures by the coastal areas will be lower than the rest of the nation, but the sunny weather will be nationwide.

But unfortunately, it looks like the good times won’t last.

On Sunday, the temperatures are expected to fall back down to around 15 degrees before dipping down even further to about 10 degrees and below in the following week.
