Finns not exactly a barrel of laughs

Danes have been voted the funniest Nordic nation by their Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish neighbours in a survey conducted by the online hotel search engine Hotels.com.

In a survey that prevented people from voting for their own nation as being the most amusing, Danish humour was found to be the best in Sweden (36 percent), Norway (36 percent) and Finland (31 percent).

Finns finish last
The Norwegians were found to be the second funniest, finishing top in Denmark and second in Sweden and Finland.

The Finns weren’t exactly found to be a barrel of laughs and finished last in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

The survey consisted of 4,000 respondents from the Nordics over the age of 18.
