Bus strike: Some of Copenhagen’s busiest lines not running this morning

Reason behind work stoppage by bus drivers unclear

Copenhagen bus passengers may want to look for alternative forms of transport this morning as several lines – including the 5A, 14 and 250S, which are some of the city’s busiest – are not running.

The shutdown is the result of a work stoppage by drivers employed by transport company Keolis, who attended a union meeting early this morning.

Movia, the company that handles bus traffic in Copenhagen, said it would release information on more possible shutdowns as it became available over the course of the day.
