July 1 is the official military flagday that commemorates the Battle of Køge Bay in 1677 when the outnumbered Danish Navy – led by Admiral Niels Juel – beat the Swedish Navy.

It was a deciding victory that ruined Sweden’s ambitions to rule the Nordic seas.

Some 100 Danes were killed, while the Swedes lost around 3,000 men.

The numbers are especially striking amongst the 3,477 business and economics students polled, of whom 31 percent elected Novo Nordisk as their favorite, compared with 20 percent last year.
