A low pressure system threatens to shoot a hole in outdoor weekend plans.
The erratic system moving up from central Europe has the potential to bring torrential rains on Saturday and high winds on Sunday.
Still uncertain
The system, a blend of cool air from the coast of France and over-heated summer air from southern Europe, will pass directly over Denmark bringing the potential for 20 and 40 mm of rain across most of the country and high winds on Sunday.
If the front passes to the northeast, which is often the case with low pressure systems, only the eastern parts of the country will see any substantial rain, while the northwest will stay completely dry.
