Multiple homicide trial of nurse begins in Nykøbing Falster

Patients alleged to have been given unknown substance

The trial of a 30-year-old nurse has started at Nykøbing Falster Court where she is charged with four homicides and an attempted homicide in relation to deaths and injury at Nykøbing Falster Hospital in March, TV2 News reports.

She was arrested on March 1 following three deaths occurring during a shift at the hospital. She has been in custody since then and has been charged in connection with a further death.

Three of the deaths are alleged to have occurred after an unknown substance having was administered intravenously to the patients, while the details of the other death and incident giving rise to the attempted homicide charge have not been revealed.
