Brand new campus hall opens in Odense

Campus House, a new residence hall at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense, opens on September 1.

With a capacity for 250 students, the residence hall was a gift to the university from the AP Møller Foundation.

Suitable for handicapped
The kollegium consists of three linked 15-storey buildings, providing 250 housing units, researcher apartments and a porter’s residence.

Each room is fitted with quality design furniture, an ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the city of Odense and the nearby woodlands.
Single rooms (20 sqm) cost 3,000 kroner, barrier-free rooms cost 3,800 kroner and double rooms (35 sqm) cost 5,000 kroner.

Great views from top floors
The campus house includes communal areas such as lounges and kitchens, and the top storey is reserved for rooms for music, drama and fitness.

As one of the tallest buildings in Odense (about 50 metres high), the hall of residence offers great views across Funen – and on sunny days, as far as the Great Belt. (LR)
