Black Sabbath coming to Denmark

Ozzy and co to go off the rails at Copenhell 2016

On 25 June 2016, the crazy train will come off the rails in Copenhagen as the British band Black Sabbath pays heed to the metal gods at Copenhell.

The legendary band, spearheaded by the Prince of Darkness himself Ozzy Osbourne, will take the stage at the rock and metal festival to blast out classics such as ‘Iron Man’, ‘War Pigs’, ‘The Wizard’ and ‘Paranoid’ as part of their final tour, which is appropriately entitled ‘The End’.

“Black Sabbath is one of the greatest names a rock and metal festival could hope for and a massive get for Copenhell,” Copenhell said.

“It will be an unforgettable experience to see these living legends pay some of their most memorable metal songs for the last time as part of the ‘The End’ tour.”

A final salute
Founded in Birmingham in 1968, the band has had metal heads and rockers head-banging and raising hand horns to the skies of darkness for almost 50 years.

Three out of the four original band members – lead singer Ozzy Osbourne, lead guitarist Tony Iommi and bass player Geezer Butler – are still going strong and they will be joined by the former Rob Zombie drummer Tommy Clufetos.

Black Sabbath is scheduled to play on the final day of Copenhell 2016 and tickets for the three-day festival go on sale on October 6 at 10:00. Get your tickets here at Billetnet.dk.
