21-year-old man murdered his mother

His motive is unknown

A 21-year-old man turned himself in at the psychiatric emergency at Odense University Hospital after killing his mother earlier today, reports Metroxpress.

The hospital staff contacted police, who arrested the man and later found his 55-year-old mother dead at her home in Kerteminde, east of Odense.

According to the deputy police investigator, the young man will be taken to a preliminary hearing on Friday morning.

The police investigation is still underway and the man’s motive has not been revealed.
