The perpetrator involved in recently-reported sexual assaults may still be out there

Copenhagen Police advises young women living in the Danish capital to be careful and avoid travelling alone after dark, reports DR.

Even though the police have over the weekend arrested two men suspected of being involved in several cases of indecent exposure and violent attacks against young women in the districts of Nørrebro and Østerbro, it is possible other perpetrators are still out there.

Since the police asked the public for help in their investigation last Friday, many inquiries including new cases have been coming in.

“There are really many cases, and at the moment we cannot say if the two arrested men are behind the more than 100 cases reported,” Jens Møller Jensen, the head of the dangerous crime division at Copenhagen Police, told DR.

“I don’t believe they are.”
