New storm to hit north Jutland tomorrow

Helga will bring high winds and water for a few hours on Friday morning

Weather service DMI is warning residents of northern Jutland, particularly those living on the west coast, that Storm Helga will be paying them a visit tomorrow morning between 7 am and noon.

DR Nyheder said Helga would be most frisky from Skagen to Thyborøn, but that the entire population along the northern part of Jutland’s west coast will experience a real blow on Friday morning.

Stop naming the damn things!
Last Sunday’s storm was dubbed Gorm. DMI has named tomorrow’s visitor Helga.

It will be the eighth storm to hit Denmark since naming began two years ago.
