Snow on the way!

Where, how much and how long still not clear

It’s cold and will probably stay that way for most of the week. Temperatures hovering around and below zero along with strong winds make it feel even colder.

“We have some cold days ahead,” DMI meteorologist Thygesen Rasmussen told BT. “Low temperatures and strong breezes will make it feel very cold.”

Northern exposure
Snow is predicted for most of the country by the end of the week. On Friday night, 5-10 centimetres is expected of snow could fall nationwide, with more to follow over the weekend.

In northern Jutland, high winds and higher precipitation amounts will have residents facing a real snowstorm.

The weather should be less dramatic in the southern parts of Zealand.
