Porno Lasse, the most famous male Danish porn star of all time, is making preparations for the most challenging entry of his career.
He wants to enter Parliament and he intends to stand as a member in the next elections.
Porno, whose real name is Lasse Helmer Sørensen, announced his intentions on his Facebook page.
“I, Lasse Helmer Sørensen, intend to run in the upcoming general election,” he wrote. He also tweeted his intentions.
Sørensen plans to run as an independent and is looking for an assistant (no, not a fluffer this time) who can help him with planning, IT issues and generally getting the word out that he has thrown his … hat … into the ring. The job would be a volunteer’s position.

Sørensen described his political philosophy as “logical thought, grounded in love”.
Sørensen conceded that according to the constitution he must collect 20,109 signatures to get his name – whichever one he chooses – on the ballot.
