A bus has this afternoon crashed directly into Cirkusbygning  in central Copenhagen, a building located on Axeltorv opposite Palads cinema.

A police spokesperson have told DR News that the authorities “don’t know what has happened yet”, but it is believed that the 5-A bus skidded and slid off the road, possibly due to the recent sleet and rain falling in the capital.

“We’ll begin taking statements from witnesses. So far, there have been no reported injuries,” Aaskov explained.

The bus crossed over to the other side of the road, but avoided any incoming traffic before colliding into the building.
