Dane arrested for ordering livestreamed rape of children

A 66-year-old man is now remanded in custody

A 66-year-old Dane has been arrested for paying to watch sexual assaults against children in Asia, which were streamed live on the internet, reports Berlingske.

The man was taken to a preliminary hearing on Thursday morning and then remanded in custody for four weeks.

According to Copenhagen Police, the child abuse has been taking place over a long period of time.

The case is being investigated behind closed doors.
