Today’s Date: Denmark again

South Jutland (also known as Northern Schleswig) was reunified with Denmark on this day in 1920.
Danish sympathisers in Schleswig raised the issue in the Reichstag in October 1918 and at the Versailles peace conference in 1919.
It was the only one of its territories that Germany did not dispute. The day is marked with the flying of the Dannebrog at all government buildings.
