Copenhagen Police increases security following Istanbul attack

Cops more visible at the airport and throughout the city

Copenhagen Police has tweeted that it has stepped up security and visibility at Copenhagen Airport and other traffic hubs throughout Denmark’s capital city.

“No sign” that Denmark has been targeted
The police said they would not comment whether they believed there was a specific threat or how long the stepped-up patrols would continue, only that the extra measures were “based on the incident in Istanbul”.

The Foreign Ministry said that there is “no sign” that an attack is imminent in Denmark.
