Sunny and warmer weather expected midweek

Temperatures will reach as high as 27 degrees on Wednesday

A high pressure system from the French Alps will bring sunnier and warmer weather to Denmark.

Already on Tuesday, temperatures will slowly increase to 22 degrees thanks to warm air blowing in from the southwest.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with clear skies and temperatures are expected to raise up to 27 degrees.

On Thursday, however, there is a chance for heavy rain and thunderstorms as the warm air mixes with cool winds from the west.

Weather forecast for the rest of the week is currently unclear.
