Running and Beers

Here’s a great opportunity to take full advantage of the glorious summer warmth and sunshine! ????

The first Saturday of every month, there is a running event at Mikkeller’s brewery in Copenhagen. It is possible to run different distances (from 5 to 15 km) with different teams that are paced by team leaders.

  • Malmö Centralstation

  • Meet at Malmö C in front of the Burger King @ 9:45 to take the 9:53 train to København H together.

It’s not competitive and, at the end, they offer a free beer to all the runners. You can also get a meal with meat and salad at a reasonable price (vegetarian option available — menu here).

Next event will be on July 2nd at 11 o’ clock.

We will meet at Malmö C in front of Burger King and take the 9:53 train to Copenhagen. Try to be there 10 minutes before, as there could be a queue at the ticket machines. VERY IMPORTANT: Please remember to bring the proper ID for your return trip to Sweden. If you have any questions about what kind of ID you need, feel free to message me.

We will sit in the first train car so that people taking the train from another station easily can find us. My partner and I will wear bright-colored shirts and we’ll have our dog with us:

Some people may be boarding the train at Triangeln or elsewhere—feel free to organize that in the comments. If you want to go directly to the event (for example, because you are already in Copenhagen), then it is located here.

It is possible to leave a bag with your clothes in the brewery while running.

If you are on Facebook, I encourage you to join the event for more information. If necessary, you can text me at +46(0)728603801.
