Cannabis found on roof of Copenhagen Opera House

Police searching for the phantom that left it behind

Last February, police in Copenhagen found 75 kilos of cannabis hidden on the roof of the Copenhagen Opera House. Thus far their investigation has uncovered no leads as to who left it behind, so they have gone public.

“The hashish was well hidden, and our investigation has not been able to uncover who put it there,” Steffen Steffensen from Copenhagen Police’s organised crime division told Ekstra Bladet.

Finders keepers?
Steffensen would not speculate as to whether the cannabis has a connection to Christiania, which lies close to the Opera House.

If the police are unable to find out who left the weed behind, it will be registered as lost property.
