On this day in 1906, Nordisk Film was founded by the Danish filmmaker Ole Olsen.
Today, 110 years later, it is the third oldest studio in the world and the oldest continuously active film studio in the world.
Last year alone, it generated around 3.7 billion kroner in revenue.
