Henrik Bo Nielsen is stepping down as chief executive of the Danish Film Institute after ten years in the position to take up a similar post at the museum group ROMU. Claus Ladegaard will take over as interim CEO in the early autumn to give the board time to find a more permanent solution. Nielsen said he was leaving with a “fairly easy conscience” given the achievements of the DFI over the last decade.
Minister to head Dansk Flygtningehjælp
Christian Friis Bach, 51, has been confirmed as the new general secretary of aid organisation Dansk Flygtningehjælp. The former development minister and Radikale MP will replace Andreas Kamm when he steps down at the end of October after almost 20 years in the position. Kamm said he couldn’t be happier or more confident about his successor.
New chair for AmCham
Following the departure of AmCham chair Ron Park to take up a new post with Roche in San Francisco, the chamber of commerce has confirmed Angela Naef as his replacement. The DuPont Nutrition & Health senior vice president noted that it was “with great humility that I take on this position to strengthen AmCham as the voice for international business in Denmark”.
