Prince Henrik’s condition worsens

Crown Prince Frederik has returned from South Korea to join other members of the Danish Royal Family at his father’s bedside

The Danish Court announced today that the condition of Prince Henrik, the prince consort, has severely deteriorated.

Crown Prince Frederik has flown home ahead of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in South Korea, which he was attending in his role as an IOC member.

Prince Henrik, who is suffering from dementia, has been hospitalised since January 28, when he was admitted for tests and follow-ups to his hospital stay in August last year.
