Fatal shooting in Amager last night

Once again, Copenhagen has been the scene of a suspicious death

Copenhagen Police has announced that a man died as a result of his injuries late last night after being shot on Amagerfælledvej.

No details have been released regarding the man’s age and identity or the circumstances surrounding the shooting, reports DR Nyheder.

The shooting took place near the address of Amagerfælledvej 93 and was reported at around 23:00 last night. Badly injured, the man was taken to hospital but later died of his wounds.

A police spokesperson said they were still patrolling the area and more details would be forthcoming during this morning.
