Closing in on the Coronavirus: People without symptoms to be tested soon

In line with the government’s efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus, people without symptoms will soon be tested.

According to the Sundhedsstyrelsen health authority, testing will soon start on asymptomatic patients.

However, this measure will be applied by priority to those who have been in contact with confirmed carriers, as well as staff who work in close proximity to vulnerable groups, such as the elderly.

Ideally, tests should take place around four to eight days after contact with those infected with the coronavirus.
