Copenhagen has one of Europe’s best rooftop bars

ILLUM Rooftop was ranked 40th by Big 7 Travel and praised for its comprehensive view of the capital 

If you were hankering for a unique food and drink experience in Copenhagen, here’s a little bit of inspiration for you.

According to online travel guide firm Big 7 Travel, Copenhagen has one of the top 50 rooftop bars in Europe.

ILLUM Rooftop was ranked 40th on the list and hailed for offering patrons a spectacular view of the Danish capital.

At the top of ILLUM centre, you will find Copenhagen’s coolest rooftops, with a mix of bars and restaurants and the best views of the city,” Big 7 Travel wrote.

“The rooftop restaurants serve everything from steaks to lobster, to cocktails and champagne.”

London calling
Open daily from 10:00 to 23:00, ILLUM Rooftop offers a number of culinary delights – from pizza and
palæo to seafood and coffee.

The Culpepper in London finished top of the list, followed by Patchwork at Sa Punta (Ibiza), Terrazza Borromini (Rome), Nebotičnik (Ljubljana) and PK Cocktail Bar (Santorini).
