Denmark ranked among top gap year destinations

The country finished 10th overall based on a number of factors such as safety, hostels, beer prices and attractions

According to a new ranking by online bag storage firm Bounce, Denmark is among the top gap year destinations in the world.

The list had Denmark sitting in 10th place, ahead of all other Nordic destinations. 

The list was based on a number of categories, including safety, hostels, beer prices and attractions.

Ain’t much if it ain’t Dutch 
The ranking was topped by the Netherlands, followed by Ireland, Switzerland, Greece and Japan.

Meanwhile, the Czech Republic, South Korea, the UK, Austria and Denmark completed the top 10.

Other notables included Iceland (16th), Finland (21), India (23), China (27), Norway (28), Canada (32), the US (37), Australia (38), Sweden (41), Russia (44) and Brazil (52).
