Danish broadcasters organising a ‘Live Aid’ to support Ukraine

March 12 concert will take place at Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen from 19:30

Pencil March 12 into your diaries as your day to be worthy, as ‘Sammen for Ukraine’ is this year’s Live Aid.

DR and TV2 are joining forces to organise a fundraising concert to support Ukraine that will culminate with a concert broadcast live from Rådhuspladsen in Copenhagen at 19:30. 

Big screens in Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg and Esbjerg will also show the event.

It will be the final act of a whole week’s worth of events.

All sorts of donations possible
Specifically,  ‘Sammen for Ukraine’ is raising emergency funds to treat the victims of the war.

Several Danish relief organisations are also getting involved, including the Danish Refugee Council. A full list will be confirmed in the next couple of days.

To support the cause early doors, either donate 150 kroner by sending an SMS with ‘HELP’ to 1234, make a larger payment via MobilePay to 405042, or make a charitable contribution via sammenforukraine.dk.
