Will you get taxes back? Millions have already checked

The Skat tax authority has released its annual personal tax returns this week and queues were formidable for those wanting a peek 

As is tradition, millions of people in Denmark have queued up online to check whether they got taxes back in recent days.

The tax authority Skat released its annual personal tax returns, ‘Årsopgørelse’, yesterday.

As of Monday morning at 05:00, some 2.5 million people had logged in to check the joy/damage.

Kicked off Friday
According to Skat, people were waiting for almost five hours when the queue was at its climax.

While yesterday was the first official day to check, the public has actually been able to log in and have a peek since Friday afternoon.
