Abortion rules to be eased in Denmark

An agreement between the government and several parties will see the limit for getting an abortion raised to the 18th week of pregnancy, and young women aged 15 to 17 can get an abortion without parental consent, according to Danish media.

The government, SF, Enhedslisten, Radikale Venstre and Alternativet will lift the abortion limit from week 12 to week 18. TV2 and DR report this based on a leaked draft agreement from the negotiations which the media have in their possession.
