FCM is the first Danish team in action in 2025 when they head to Bulgaria to face Ludogorets in the Europe League.

The team from Herning have accumulated seven points in the first six games, and were off to a good start in Europa League, before losing the last two fixtures against FC Porto and Eintracht Frankfurt.

The league contains 36 teams and the best 24 teams are promoted to the next round, and FC Midtjylland is currently in position 24 with two games remaining.

Why they probably need to secure one or three points to secure a promotion, but Ludogorets is likely no walkover leading the Bulgarian A league with a massive 13 points after 19 rounds played.
