One of the most anticipated events in Copenhagen’s music calendar will take place this afternoon in Nørrebro. The street party, part of the Distortion festival, will run from 16:00 to 22:00. Dozens of events will take place along the route from Dronning Louises Bro—which will be closed—to Assistens Kirkegård. The event is free and open to the public.
Car traffic will be blocked throughout the area, and buses will not operate in the affected zones. The metro will run as usual. While it is technically allowed to cycle through the neighborhood, it is not recommended, as large crowds are expected and navigating the area may be difficult.
The streets will reopen after 22:00, when cleanup operations begin.
