Queen’s Jubilee – In January Queen Margrethe celebrated her 40th jubilee, and now the celebrations continue over the weekend with different family activities.

English Comedy Club – What better way to finish off the working week than with a night of stand-up comedy at Crowne Plaza? The hotel lounge will on Friday night transform into a slick comedy venue where three fantastic comedians –  the UK’s Daniel Spaulding, Sofie Hagen and Niels Forsberg – will take the stage. Art tour in English – Let art expert Mark Sladen give you a fresh view on artworks from the Italian and Northern European Renaissance, the Dutch Baroque era and the Danish Golden Age in a beautiful garden setting north of Copenhagen. Sladen is the director of Kunsthal Charlottenborg and is currently a member of the Turner Prize Jury. Behind his interest in modern art lies a strong commitment to works of the 1700s.

Opening of ‘superhighway’ – Join the very first bike ride on Denmark’s first ‘superhighway’. You start at Albertslund Station and end up at City Hall where the first 100 signed up people get free pancakes. Around 11:00 there will be a stop at Damhussøen in the middle of the route, where the official opening takes place and the last orange stripe will be painted.
