According to the Danish Pharmacy Association, hand-sanitiser stocks have been replenished following a long period of severe shortages.
The increase has been made possible thanks to several companies helping with hand-sanitiser production: Carlsberg, a cream factory in Silkeborg, a juice factory in Lolland and a whiskey distillery in Nyborg.
Not a complete cakewalk
Nevertheless, deliveries to pharmacies remain irregular as the demand is still higher than what the chemists are used to.
Don’t be fooled if you can’t immediately see any hand-sanitiser products, though.
Many pharmacies are keep most of their stock behind the counter to prevent hoarding, reports Berlingske.
Bills put on the back burner
Meanwhile, in other coronavirus-related news, PM Mette Frederiksen has announced a postponement of 39 bills that were due to be heard by July.
They will now be heard in the next parliamentary year, which begins in October. The 39 bills represented 40 percent of those scheduled.
Frederiksen made a point of underlining that bills concerning her government’s political priorities, such as fighting climate change, have been postponed changed.
