Low pressure on Thursday will bring cold air and winds towards Denmark.
These will be strong gusts of wind sweeping across the country from the west. West, northwest and mid Jutland can expect gale-force winds for half a day: from 09:00 to 21:00.
Reprieve for capital
Contrary to reports earlier in the week, Copenhagen won’t suffer much, however.
Although rain is expected from midday for most of the afternoon, barely 2 mm is expected.
Cold air on the way
The low pressure system will bring cold air into Denmark.
Sleet, and perhaps even some snow, is forecast in the wake of the storm
However, by Saturday the cold air will have been driven out by a warm front arriving from the west.
It will continue to be windy throughout the weekend though.
