Police investigating possible car bombing attempt in Gladsaxe

Device most likely linked to gang violence, not terrorists

The police are investigating a possible car bomb as an attempted murder in Gladsaxe over the weekend. They are currently checking surveillance cameras in the area and questioning the car’s owner.

He is believed to be a 51-year-old rocker with ties to the Bandidos gang, reported Ekstra Bladet on Sunday. As yet, the police cannot absolutely confirm if the incident was related to gang violence.

Suspicious object
The police received a report on Saturday night that a suspicious object had been attached to his car. The authorities destroyed the object on the spot, as they couldn’t rule out the possibility of it being a bomb.

The police are encouraging anyone with relevant information to call 114.
