They didn’t plan on going to Denmark next year, but here they are! The Californian funk/rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing at the 2023 Odense music festival Tinderbox.
The 23-date world tour includes some other countries in Europe, but Denmark is the only Scandinavian date on the 40th anniversary tour of the legendary band, which was created in 1983.
“It’s a true delight to finally be able to present one of the world’s most influential rock bands,” the organisers said.
The band are known for their multiple hits: their 1999 song ‘Californication‘ sold more than 15 million times worldwide. Other bestsellers include ‘Scar Tissue’, ‘Otherside’, ‘Can’t Stop’ and ‘Snow (Hey Oh)’.
