An ambulance driver dropped a student at a school gala event on Wednesday night in full uniform and with the emergency lights on.
After dropping off the student, the driver, who works for Falck, chauffeured another young boy home from the gala event.
According to Sjællanske, Falck is astounded by the driver’s poor behavior and misuse of the vehicle.
“We would never – and I repeat never – permit something like that. Ambulances are for something completely different than chauffeur driving. Ambulances should only be used to transport severely ill people,” Benny Jørgensen, head of Region Zealand’s hospitals, told Ekstra Bladet.
The driver has since been called for discussions with his boss, and Region Zealand has required a written explanation from Falck.
