Police make several arrests in Christiania raid

Actions connected to the illegal cannabis trade

Copenhagen Police has made a series of arrests during several raids on Pusher Street in Christiania and other locations in Copenhagen this morning.

The police wouldn’t reveal many details regarding the action, but the raids concerned the illegal cannabis trade in the city.

“We are out charging a number of people in Christiania, but also at a number of other addresses in the city that are related to the cannabis trade in Pusher Street in Christiania,” Dannie Rise, the head of Task Force Pusher Street, said according to DR Nyheder.

Some of those arrested will appear in court later today, Rise revealed.
