Revving up for the biggest motor show in town

Plenty of top-tuned and trimmed treats on display at the Bella Center when the 7th Scandinavian Motor Show accelerates at full speed into Copenhagen.

If you love the look of a vintage classic or admire a custom car, then the more than 500 sports cars, custom bikes, hot rods, American classics, racing cars, trucks and other weird and wonderful vehicles will take you into seventh heaven.

If you were inspired by the film Gumball Rally, you will be thrilled to hear that the organisers of the planned five-day European road trip Carbage Run in 2015 will be in attendance with some of the competing rustbuckets.

The nostalgic enthusiast will revel at the sight of an authentic, lovingly maintained two-tone chrome Buick complete with matching caravan, while those who prefer the thrill of two wheels will enjoy the rock bike – a contraption signed by members of bands such as Kiss, Saxon and Status Quo!

Pimped-up trucks from Germany will also be guesting at the show, as well as vehicles at the other end of the scale – if you can’t imagine the creative possibilities in a VW Lupo, then you just have to see the ‘white wolf’ up close.

During all three days, there will be live DJs, music, the obligatory scantily-clad hostesses and live shows. You will also be able to shop for top gear, MC clothing and browse the exhibitor stands.
