David Guetta coming to Denmark

The legendary DJ poised to pump up the jam at Tinderbox

Coldplay, Iron Maiden, The Cure and Rihanna have already announced their arrival in Denmark next year, and now it has been announced that the legendary French DJ David Guetta will follow suit.

Guetta is coming to the fair shores of Denmark as one of the headline acts for the ambitious Tinderbox music festival in Funen next July.

“We are very proud to present David Guetta, as one of the headliners for Tinderbox 2016, and thereby maintain the high quality with big electronic names on the program, which is something the guests were very excited about this year,” said Brian Nielsen, the head of Tinderbox.

World’s elite
Guetta is one of the world’s top DJs. His hits have been steamed over 2 billion times on Spotify, something only Eminem and Ed Sheeran can boast. Last year, he raked in 250 million kroner, second only to Calvin Harris among DJs.

His hits include ‘Titantium’ (with Sia), ‘Without You’ (with Usher) and his breakthrough hit from 2009, ‘When Love Takes Over’ (with Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child). He’s also been charged with coming up with the theme song for the forthcoming Euro 2016 football tournament in France.

Tinderbox kicks off on July 23 in Tusindårsskoven forest near Odense and a number of high-profile names, including Rammstein, Volbeat, and The National, have already signed up. Guetta will perform on July 25.
