Six Filipino crew aboard the Danish cargo ship Thorco Cloud are believed to have drowned on December 17 following a collision with a chemical tanker off the coast of western indonesia. so far, three bodies have been found. en route from to japan to western Africa, its operator, the Copenhagen-based Thorco Shipping, confirmed six crew including the captain, were rescued.


Fat cats

A Danish couple, Per and Emely Larsen, grabbed transatlantic headlines with a costly Xmas purchase: not, not a start up, but a couple of cats from Florida for a total cost of 24,000 kroner. the former Las Vegas residents were looking for an american short hair – a breed not found in Denmark – and ended up buying two. Tanner and Nite have since been rechristened Mau and Lua.


No mortal danger!

The Royal Family denies Prince Christian was in mortal danger on December 17 when he was picked up by a lifeguard swimming off Australia’s Gold Coast after being knocked off his feet by a current. “We got him before it got too serious, but he wouldn’t have come back in,” a lifeguard supervisor told 7 News Queensland. Frederik and Mary’ eldest son, 10, is second in line to the throne.
