Budget airline Ryanair is significantly expanding its presence in Denmark. The carrier is adding 15 new routes from Copenhagen to destinations like London, Edinburgh and Malaga and three new routes from Billund to Malaga and London.
Growth spurt
According to the company, the new routes will create 2,300 new jobs in Denmark divided between Copenhagen and Billund.
“We are very pleased with the success we have had in Copenhagen,” Ryanair CEO Michael O’Leary said at a press conference. “We are growing all the time.”

The new routes will add 3 million extra passengers a year flying with Ryanair to and from Denmark.
